It's almost that time!! Does your child know how they are getting home on the first day of school? Do you know where to pick them up? Below is a map of the front of the Palestine-Wheatley Elementary School. There are 3 different locations where students may be picked up. The gravel parking lot on the North-West side of the campus. Here, you may park your vehicle. Please get out and come close to the front gate to receive your child. This is to keep our littles safe. There are large vehicles that may not be able to see them crossing the parking lot alone. On the East side of the school, towards the main entrance of the elementary, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students will be picked up. On the West side of the school, in front of the Cafeteria and Main Office (Flag pole side), 4th, 5th, and 6th graders will be picked up. What if you have students in both groups? You will pick up where the oldest student should be. Our 4th-6th graders will pick up their siblings as they walk by the K-3rd grade section. We ask a few things of our parents and guardians: Please do not get in line to pick up car riders in front of the school until buses have left the parking lot. Please pull up as far as you can in line. Please stay in your vehicle at ALL times. (Front Lines) Do not exit the line until you are waved to do so. Thank You so much for being a part of this team. Please be patient with us as we work through all of the first day fun! We cannot wait to get started tomorrow!

2024-25 School Calendar - REVISED Please note the week of Spring Break will be March 24-28, 2025, this is the ONLY change that has been made to the calendar.

** Attention Patriot Parents** Monday, August 5th, at 6:00 p.m., there will be a MANDATORY parent meeting in the High School Cafeteria. This meeting is for parents that have Patriot Athletes in grades 7th-12th.

Baseball at Palestine - Wheatley ONLY will be pushed back one hour. All games to be played at Forrest City are still on schedule.

Palestine - Wheatley School District is pleased to host the 2A Centennial Bank State Baseball and Softball Tournament. Baseball and Softball brackets for the tournaments have been posted on the Palestine - Wheatley School District Facebook page. Patriots will take on Cedar Ridge at 12:30 p.m., on the Patriot Field. The Patriot game will be live on KXJK 950 AM, 106.5 FM, and livestreamed at kxjk.com

School Choice Registration The registration dates for students 1st - 12th grade that were accepted under School Choice, will be May 22nd and 23rd, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Elementary grades 1st-6th High School grades 7th-12th
